Bamboo Leaf

Bamboo Leaf tea has been around for many centuries and grows naturally in the same mountainous areas as Camellia Sinensis (tea plant). It has a very similar appearance to green tea both in the dried form and colour of the tea liquor. It does however have a different taste and set of health benefits. Bamboo, being a kind of grass has a naturally sweet and smooth grassy flavour that is pleasantly refreshing and cleansing. A Chinese medicine perspective says it is helpful for hair, teeth and nail growth due to its rich content of vegetative silica. It is also a good source of dietary fiber promoting good digestion. Harvested from wild grown bamboo plants in the mountains of Anhui Provence.
