Spring will have longer days due to the sun rising from being positioned underneath the earth over winter. The core energy of the body will become more contracted and begin to rise towards the sun as a result of more daylight.
Spring festival (Chinese New Year) signifies germination (wood- shoots and spring tea buds) and officially marks the change in the position of the suns angle and the quality of energy. It is a time to make strategies for the forthcoming year.
